HR Talk

Branding, Print Design

& Social Media

HR Talk is a podcast and blog simplifying Human Resources to help build more enjoyable, inclusive workplaces. Created by two dynamic women of color in HR, the brand needed to reflect both professionalism and personal warmth — a balance of corporate credibility with approachable, real-world conversation.

I developed a brand identity rooted in feminine strength, trust, and clarity, using a palette of soft, layered pinks to evoke warmth, empathy, and approachability. The modern serif logotype is paired with a hand-drawn vintage mic icon, symbolizing thoughtful dialogue and personality-driven content. The overall look is elegant yet inviting, tailored for an audience of professionals who crave honest conversations about culture, equity, and leadership in the workplace.

To support the brand's voice, I also crafted a series of clever, empowering slogans and teaser quotes for use in social media mockups. These phrases reinforce the podcast’s mission to humanize HR and amplify underrepresented voices in the industry.

Featured Slogans:

  • “We are the HR we wish we had.”

  • “Not your boss’s HR podcast.”

  • “Human Resources starts with being human.”

  • "Let’s talk HR — the real way."

The result is a visually cohesive and personality-driven brand that speaks to HR professionals who are tired of the status quo — and ready to reimagine the workplace.
