Dr. Wein is an online wine shop with a playful twist: it pairs you with wines based on your personality through a short quiz. The heart of the brand is simple: you don’t need to be a sommelier to enjoy or understand wine. Dr. Wein makes wine discovery feel approachable, inclusive, and totally judgment-free.
Once you complete the quiz, you're matched with a curated selection tailored by their team and delivered straight to your door. The brand’s voice is friendly, witty, and warm - like a knowledgeable friend helping you fall in love with wine on your own terms.
For this project, I explored multiple logo directions before landing on the signature grape with glasses, a playful, recognizable mark that embodies the brand’s clever personality. I designed the packaging for the wine kits, which included bold patterns, vibrant colors, and messaging like “Tu pareja perfecta” (Your perfect match) and “Se acabó la espera” (The wait is over) to create a moment of joy the second the box arrives.
To extend the brand experience, I created social media assets, event coasters, promotional materials, and signage with conversational messaging. I also designed uniforms for sampling teams in supermarkets, as well as stationery, email signatures, and branded content for online campaigns.
The visual identity uses organic shapes, retro-inspired curves, and a rich grape-toned palette to reflect flavor, personality, and fun, all while positioning Dr. Wein as a brand that invites you to sip, smile, and learn something new.
